In September of 2019, when travel was still normal, we went to Hawai'i to celebrate my birthday!

Those who know me will know it is a big deal that I instigated a hike early one morning to watch the sunrise at the Kaiwa Ridge- here's a view from the Lanikai pillbox hike.

The Byodo-In Temple in the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park is stunning.

While we were deciding what to do one morning, I specifically did a Google search for temples in Honolulu and found this gem - the Mu-Ryang-Sa Korean Buddhist Temple.
